Permanent role Electrician - Solar Technician Permanent role Work 2 days in the office and 3 on the road with flexi start times Day shift hours Company car with laptop and phone The Company: Our client, a prominent national leader in solar hot water systems for residential and commercial applications, is currently seeking an Electrician - Solar Technical Specialist. This role involves providing expert electrical support for PV and solar hot water systems to the Sydney residential and commercial sales team and oversees installation quality and training, necessitating possession of the PV installation license for Sydney. A typical week includes spending a few days at our Rydalmere office and three days traveling for field work. The position requirements include but are not limited to: Ensure a daily review of all successfully closed PV and SHW sales designs to pre-empt any installation issues Conduct site inspections as necessary before installations commence Fulfil responsibilities as the electrical Llcense holder for Sydney Direct, conducting regular inspections Foster and maintain relationships with contractors, offering continual training and support for major product launches, onboarding, troubleshooting, and installation communication Undertake warranty service work in Sydney when needed Offer direct feedback to management regarding field product issues as they arise To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following: A grade electrical licence Must hold a current electrical contractor’s license Proven experience within the solar PV industry with installation experience. Fault finding experience Can-do attitude and an ability to prioritise multiple tasks Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision Possess strong computer proficiency Hours & Rates: $110k to $120k salary super Work 2 days in the office and 3 days on the road with flexible start times You must be either an Australian citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to apply for this position.
