The Employer: Ando's Electrical/ProSwitched has been providing expert electrical services to residential, commercial, industrial, and governmental clients in the Wide Bay - Burnett region since 1993. Their achievements are supported by a team of six fully qualified electrical technicians, one apprentice, and two dedicated administrative professionals. The Duties: The duties will be diverse, and will be adapted to suit the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful applicant: Perform electrical maintenance and repair work in commercial and industrial settings. Design, install and commission electrical projects for clients. Perform reactive and breakdown maintenance for power and control systems across diverse industries such as the water, manufacturing, agriculture and utilities sectors. Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships. Maintain documentation and reports for work completed. Maintain and continue to develop a strong safety compliance culture at all sites. The Requirements: Applications will be welcomed from Trade Qualified Electricians able to demonstrate, or willing to learn and develop, the following: A desire for a long-term career opportunity with a willingness to step-up, learn and grow. A proven strong work ethic. Experience with diagnosing and repairing electrical faults. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics. The ability to work autonomously, be solution-focused and resource what is required to implement identified solutions. A proven safety focus for yourself, co-workers, clients and on-site plant and equipment. Construction Industry White Card. Current Manual Qld driver licence. The ability to consistently work in a workplace where random drug and alcohol testing may be conducted. A positive, supportive and team-oriented attitude in the workplace. Although not essential, preferred requirements include: Experience with project-based work in commercial and industrial settings. Experience in Embedded systems/ Communications, all types of Variable Frequency Drives and Programmable Logic Controllers. Experience in designing, implementing and commissioning industrial projects Current High Risk / EWP / Heights / Forklift / Spaces tickets. Open cabling registration. TUV Rheinland Functional Safety Technician Skills in performing condition monitoring and Non-destructive testing in electrical testing and Infrared Thermography.
