The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Contract Engineer to join our Rehab Maintenance team based out of Wiri-Manukau, Auckland. You might already be a Contract/Site Engineer or a Graduate Engineer who has had 2-3 years of solid project delivery experience. With a secure workload for the next 7 years and a renewed emphasis on road maintenance from councils, now is the perfect time to dive into the maintenance game. In addition to the above, you'll: Site set-up, planning, quality control, and resourcing to complete the project. Conduct site investigations and field testing of various infrastructure failure Interpret contract documentation, building codes, regulations and industry standards into a work instruction to communicate to crews to allow them to build it Focus on quality and compliance of projects and make sure they are built to spec Provide support to senior civil engineers in the construction, management and design of a variety of projects.
