Our pledge to you Join GHD We're looking for Distribution Engineers to join our Future Energy Group. The Future Energy (WA) team works on all things energy. The way we make, move, store and use energy is changing rapidly across the global energy landscape. We work with our clients in the private and public sectors to help accelerate their transition to sustainable energy use and achieve set decarbonisation targets. We do this by offering end-to-end expertise across the energy supply chain - renewables, hydrogen, hydrocarbons, power generation, transmission and distribution. Our team of 70 engineers, designers, project and study managers can provide high-level studies, detailed designs, construction and commissioning support and asset management services. Strong growth within our Future Energy business has created an opportunity for experienced Distribution Engineers to join a dynamic and professional team. Working closely with key clients, broader Power group and our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide: Concept designs and cost estimates Detailed engineering design for overhead and underground solutions Preparation of engineering design reports What you will bring to the team: Formal qualifications, likely a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, alongside a minimum 2 years distribution design experience working in a consultancy or utility environment Demonstrated delivery of overhead & underground network solutions Solid understanding of Western Power technical standards and Western Australian Electrical Requirements Proficient in the use of Microstation or AutoCAD Poles 'n' Wires software experience Exceptional problem solving skills Team player, cooperative with other staff and open sharing of knowledge What we will provide: Opportunity to gain diversified experience on multi disciplined projects across Australia Structured career pathway to develop technical knowledge and project management skills Access to GHD benefits including parental leave for all parents and purchase of additional annual leave Interested?
