Due to the Company’s involvement in a number of new exciting projects and studies, we are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our Brisbane based team. Reporting to the Manager of Projects, this position will involve, but not be limited to the following responsibilities : Ensuring compliance with the project specific requirements and current industry work codes and standards; Assisting with project control activities including scheduling, forecasting and other deliverables to a consistently high standard; Performing procurement, inspection and expediting activities; Developing and maintaining the project quality management facility to ensure project quality targets and reporting are met; Assisting in the preparation of contract scope of works and commercial tender reviews; Carrying out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, in a manner that priorities safety, environment, community and industrial relations; Participating in the Project quality management process including carrying out inspections at vendor’s premises and review of vendor quality documentation; Contributing to the estimating and scheduling components of scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies. The expertise you'll bring : Engineering Degree or the equivalent At least 4 years post graduate experience in Project Engineering Demonstrated experience interfacing with Clients Experience working on Mineral Processing Plants or similar capital projects Demonstrated sound knowledge in contract management and controls High attention to detail and problem solving skill Proven time management and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication.
