$120 - $150 per hour Inc Super 12 Month Contract 2 X 12 Month Extension Baseline Clearance Required Our Client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking a talented Service Designer (with UX expertise) to collaborate with cross-functional teams and shape the digital journey for our users. The Deliverables for the Service Designer (with UX expertise) include: Design the end-to-end Microsoft 365 journey, ensuring alignment with policy intent and user goals; Development of a service blueprint; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create or enhance digital transactions, products, and content; Undertake user research to identify and/or validate user pain points and critical needs, contributing to service improvements; Explain and advise on design decisions; Skills and Experience: The Service Designer (with UX expertise) should possess skills and experience in the following: Design Thinking: Proficiency in applying design thinking principles to service development; User-Centred Design: Ability to prioritise user needs and create intuitive, accessible experiences; Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders; Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, analyse data, and translate insights into actionable design improvements Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and other platforms; Agile: Proven track record of working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams; Effective Communication- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences; UX skills: Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD; Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and mock ups to visualise user flows and interactions; Ability to conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback; Ensure consistency and accessibility across digital products and platforms; Advocate for best practices in UX design and usability; Relevant certifications in Service Design, UX Design, or equivalent.
