Swimming and Water Safety is responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of the Interm and VacSwim swimming programs that promote vital swimming and water safety skills for children aged 5 - 17. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting our team to provide services and support to schools, swimming instructors and families. The role performs a full range of administrative functions including handling customer service enquiries, preparing correspondence and documentation, record keeping, diary management, coordinating travel arrangements, purchasing, accounts processing and budget monitoring. The role may also assist in the day-to-day coordination of professional learning programs including maintaining systems and data bases, preparing workshop materials and coordinating bookings for venues and catering. Ideally, you will possess well-developed Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheet processing skills and proficiency with other components of Microsoft Office. Sound written, oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with individuals at all levels and provide customer-focussed services will also be highly desirable. Applicants who are proactive, capable of working independently, able to deal with multiple demands, have good organisational skills, exhibit a flexible approach, and have a strong attention to detail will be highly regarded.
