About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Electrician to join our Mining & Industrial Service & Support Team on a full-time permanent basis. As the Service Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with quality processes and workmanship relating to the commissioning, servicing, and installation of Allied Pumps products and systems. In addition, you will be an integral support for the team to ensure that work output targets, including project delivery, efficiency, and accuracy are being met. Furthermore, the Service Electrician has authority over appointed personnel while on-site and is accountable for the output of their service targets, safety requirements, quality, and task efficiencies. The Service Electrician's jurisdiction is within the service working area, sites, and at times, assist other departments as required. Other key duties include: Commissioning, servicing, and installation of Allied Pumps products and systems. Providing customers with technical advice. Understanding and completing Work Orders and updating electrical drawings to complete site work. Testing and fault resolution. In-depth reporting of site systems for presentation to clients. Adhering to all company and cliental policies and procedures. About You To be successful in this position, you will come from an electrical trade background with an aptitude for mechanical and/or pump and water systems. You will also need strong communication skills and be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team to assist clients with their needs, while delivering high-quality products and services on time. Other key determinants include: Completion of Certificate III in Electrotechnology or similar qualification. High-Risk Forklift Licence (desirable). Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to successfully communicate and liaise with people at all levels - internal and external to Allied Pumps. Hold a valid A-Grade Electrical Licence in WA. Have a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle. Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams. Understanding of mine site OH&S Requirements. Intermediate experience using MS Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience and understanding of HSE compliance. Be willing to travel to remote areas for up to 2 weeks on any one project.
