About the Opportunity We are seeking a full-time Service Electrician to join our Mining & Industrial Service & Support Team and support the needs of our clients. You will need to be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team to assist clients with their needs whilst delivering a high-quality product and service on time. The Service Electrician will be responsible for maintaining compliance of quality processes and workmanship. While delivering, efficiency, accuracy and assisting other team members to achieve work output targets. The Service Electrician has authority over appointed personnel whilst on site and is accountable for the output of their service targets, safety requirements, and behaviour, conduct, quality and task efficiencies. The Service Electrician jurisdiction is within the service working area, sites and at times may assist with other departments as required. The Service Electrician will adhere to safety requirements as detailed in policies and procedures, taking all reasonable measures to maintain safe working behaviours. All workers are expected to participate and practice continuous improvement activities and support organisational goals for a lean work environment. Motor vehicle licence Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams Understanding of control circuits Working with pumps experience - desirable. Understanding of mine site OH&S Requirements Previous experience working in the manufacturing/construction industry. You will have excellent work ethic. A positive ‘can-do’ attitude. Proven ability to work unsupervised. Excellent communication skills. Experience and understanding of HSE compliance. Be willing to travel to remote areas up to 2 weeks on any one project. Basic plumbing knowledge – desirable Education/Certificate Levels Completion of Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or similar experience/qualifications) or higher A current WA Electrical Workers Licence Vehicle licence High Risk Forklift Licence - desirable Confined space entry certificate - desirable Working at heights certificate - desirable White/Blue card - desirable Senior first aid certificate (or equivalent) - desirable Software Knowledge Requirements MS Excel – Intermediate MS Word – Intermediate MS Outlook – Intermediate.
