We are currently recruiting for Seasonal warehouse operatives to join our wonderful warehouse team in our Silverwater Distribution Centre. We are looking to recruit candidates swiftly with contracts ending early January 2025 (ideally on a 6 month contract). ABOUT THE ROLE L’Occitane endeavors to provide a safe environment for all team members and visitors to the Distribution Centre. Warehouse operatives must comply with all directions relating to WH&S. All employees must take all reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others. General warehouse duties Loading and unloading of trucks – In a safe and timely manner. Good Receiving and put away – check off stock against supplier. paperwork and log all stock held in bulk on the Bulk Location File Daily or as instructed. Check Batch/Quality issues/Expiry date of products - to ensure FEFO (First Expired First Out) is strictly adhered to. Routine replenishment of pick face locations. Sales order Picking, Packing and dispatching. Final reconciliation of shipments is carried out at end of day. Assist with stock taking and cycle counting – Provide checks on bin and bulk locations as required to ensure stock credibility. Special Finishing and Kit assembly. Processing returns. Ensure all processes, procedures and policies are adhered to Other reasonable duties you may be requested to do in accordance with Warehouse Supervisor/Logistics Manager instructions. You will be required to work 7am-3pm with the possibility of overtime during our festive season ABOUT YOU Teamwork – Demonstrates effective teamwork skills.
