Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 3, 2025. Suitable applicants should be committed, professional and collaborative participants in our progressive, welcoming and diverse education community. Suitable applicants will ideally possess initiative and have the skills and experience in providing a high-quality teaching and learning program. It is highly desirable for the applicants to have experience in a wide repertoire of high impact teaching strategies including co-operative learning, reflective teaching and feedback processes, whilst possessing sound classroom management skills based on restorative practices. Experience in using Promoting Literacy Development (PLD), Seven Steps Writing and Top Ten Maths would be advantageous. Brookman PS is located 12 kilometres from Perth in the southern suburb of Langford. The community from which Brookman draws its students has an exciting and diverse cultural mix with at least one third of students having English as a second language.
