The team The People, Transformation & Technology Group is responsible for delivering transformational change across ASIC through investment in people, processes and technology. Bringing together our people, digital, data and technology teams supported by our enterprise program office, this group delivers transformational change while supporting our core technology environments and our people. Our Registry Interactions Services team and the Modernising Business Registers teams also form part of this portfolio. The role The Senior AWS Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ASIC's cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Key focus area's will be Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable AWS infrastructure solutions. About you We are looking for someone with strong people & technology leadership skills with extensive experience in a similar environment & have extensive understanding and experience with development and implementation of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation & puppet. CloudFormation, and Puppet You will also have/be accountable for but not limited to: Optimize AWS resources and costs through efficient design and usage patterns. Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. In-depth knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and others. Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Octopus, or AWS CodePipeline. Collaborate with software development teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with application development processes. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Implement security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance with relevant regulations Tertiary qualifications & Certifications are desirable About ASIC ASIC's remit is one of the broadest of regulators across the world.
