About the opportunity Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead their engineering team. This role is crucial in driving product development and improving existing processes to meet global market demands while ensuring the successful delivery of innovative engineering solutions and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. In this role, you will The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead and manage a team to achieve company and departmental goals, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. They will collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business goals, overseeing core engineering activities such as customer order processing, product improvements, and new product development. Additionally, they will initiate design reviews, address feedback on design and manufacturability, manage design and development tasks for new and improved products, support quality assessments of product and component-related issues, review tenders, participate in QFD generation for ETO requirements, and ensure product designs are electrically compliant and structurally certified. About you We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who can lead and inspire a team while delivering operational outcomes that support strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering and extensive relevant experience. They should have experience in electrical design in extra-low and low voltages. Additionally, related experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment is desirable. Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office products, as well as effective time management and project planning skills, are also required. Experience in Solar desirable.
