As a Power Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and optimisation of electrical power systems for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage systems. Key Responsibilities: System Design and Analysis: Perform electrical system design and analysis for renewable energy projects. Conduct power flow studies, fault analysis, and stability assessments to ensure reliable and efficient system operation. Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation. Optimise system performance through modelling and simulation. Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, studies, and documentation. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of design changes, test results, and project progress. Provide technical input for project proposals and feasibility studies. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in power systems engineering, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Strong knowledge of electrical system design, analysis, and optimisation. Familiarity with power system modelling and simulation tools (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, DigSILENT). Understanding of grid codes, standards, and regulations for renewable energy systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
