As the Process Improvement Engineer, you will play a vital role in improving efficiency, reducing costs and ensuring the highest quality of standard throughout our production. You will report into the Head of Industrial Engineering, working across all of our Tasmanian processing sites including Margate, Triabunna, Dover and Huonville. You will have strong analytical skills and proven experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives. You will be a collaborative team player, with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders. What does the Process Improvement Engineer role look like? Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities in terms of efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction, and progress ideas to established projects. Develop and implement process optimisation strategies to enhance overall processing performance and meet site KPI's. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new processing processes or modify existing ones. Deliver improvement projects on time and within budget to meet project objectives. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing processes to drive innovation within the organisation. What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field. Detailed understanding of Lean and process control principles (Six Sigma training will be a bonus) with proven application for process optimisation. Minimum of 4-5 years of industry experience, including proven experience in Process Improvement Engineering. Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of safety and food safety regulations In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.
