Immediate start Entry-level Administration Assistant - Exciting career opportunity working in a Procurement Department The Company Based in the SE suburbs of Melbourne, specialising in the design and manufacture of various automotive products that are designed to improve driving safety and comfort. The Role: Exciting opportunity for a bright, highly motivated person eager to enhance their Administrative skills and experience whilst supporting a friendly Materials team. Reporting to the Team Leader and providing administrative support, your primary focus will be supporting supply logistics and purchasing order follow-ups. Duties include but are not limited to: Managing Purchase Orders and updating the ERP system Liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders (predominately via email) regarding overdue purchase orders, shipment coordination etc Managing freight forwarder rate review and reporting System Maintenance including data entry activities within ERP as required Shipment setup in ERP System Purchase Order Requisitions (POR) data entry De-expedite report review and actioning Various reporting duties, formatting, maintenance, and creation of documentation along with manual and electronic filing as required Utilising in-house software including Kissflow, Pronto and MS Office Suite Additional duties as required by the Team Leader 2 to 3 months training provided. The Person : Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Enthusiasm and willingness to listen and learn Reliable, punctual, motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude Computer literacy: Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills i.e. Excel (spreadsheets, VLookUPs, formulas etc) & Outlook High attention to detail is a must; fast and accurate data entry You must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position
