A loving and caring family on Sydney’s leafy North Shore are seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to assist in caring for their three children aged 8 months, 3 years, and 8 years (at school). The days and normal hours are:- 2 days – 18 hours per week Tuesday and Thursday 8am - 5pm (flexibility with days for the right candidate) An ideal nanny would be experienced, calm, trustworthy and fun. A nanny that is active and creative and genuinely interested in engaging in play and activities to promote education, growth, and development. The family is looking for someone with integrity who can connect with their children, create a lovely bond, and become a part of their family. Someone who is adaptable and experienced caring for multiple children at various developmental stages. The nanny must be comfortable with one or both parents working from home. The family have a much loved 12-year-old Labrador who would only needs water top ups. The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows – To care for the children Follow the children’s routine Play and engage in age appropriate activities to assist in development and take the children on local outings to the park /playground Occasional walks to activities Assist with light household tasks including packing/emptying the dishwasher, general tidying up after the children, and occasional laundry Very occasional errands The family’s expectations from their nanny are - 3 years experience as a nanny or working in childcare Experience with babies required Childcare qualification preferred Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one) Have a current Working with Children Check Display strong communication skills and speak English Non-smoker Family would appreciate masks being worn indoors during winter / flu season To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
