About the role: As a Senior Engineer in our Intelligent Transport Systems team, you will play a pivotal role within our team, overseeing projects from inception to completion. You'll be responsible for delivering engineering solutions that meet project requirements within defined timelines and budgets, ensuring safety and quality remain paramount throughout. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of Engineers to deliver a headline ITS infrastructure project in Melbourne. Develop ITS solutions, product selection and procurement, ITS cabinet design and procurement, review project-wide ITS designs, manage design interfaces and provide input to constructability of ITS designs. Provide mentorship and guidance to the VIC ITS Engineering team. Design and deliver technical solutions aligned with project scope and requirements. Conduct risk assessments and escalate critical issues as necessary. Ensure adherence to project plans, budgets, and quality standards. Foster strong customer relationships, supporting sales processes and proposing solutions. Contribute to company objectives of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in delivering transport or ITS infrastructure projects. Expertise in delivery of ITS projects or similar infrastructure related projects. Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field. Australian driver's licence. Must have the right to work in Australia.
