Part-time, 0.4 FTE, 2 years, fixed term THE ROLE Join an exciting and multidisciplinary project aimed at improving the health outcomes of the Australian population by leveraging the benefits of bioactives in fresh produce. This initiative involves collaboration between researchers from Macquarie University's Faculty of Science and Engineering, Faculty of Arts, and Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences. We are looking for a Project Support Administrator to provide administrative support to the Project Management team, including financial administration, stakeholder communication, and documentation management. The successful candidate will: Provide administrative support to the Project Management team, including financial administration, writing charters and submissions, process and coding of invoices for payment, reporting, and minute taking. Respond to day-to-day queries and draft routine correspondence for matters relating to the projects. Organise and coordinate meetings for the Project Management team including bookings, catering, transport, and travel. Prepare relevant documentation (presentations, reports, agendas, minutes) required by the Project Management, or other members of the project management team. Receive, resolve, refer and/or escalate queries. Contribute to continuous improvement relevant to project management delivery and/or the PMO activities. About You You will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for customer service. You will have developed strong organisational and time management skills and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you will have experience in a project delivery context or a research/technical based context. You will possess excellent computer and data management skills and to be successful, you will employ your strong communication skills and confidence in working with and interacting with a diverse range of staff and stakeholders. Good written and verbal communications skills, including report writing. Strong reporting skills, including report preparation and use of reporting tools. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite, including application of Excel and PowerPoint. Salary Package: Level 5 from $83,580 to $95,029 per annum, plus 17% employer's superannuation. Pro rata rates apply for part-time appointment. Appointment type: 0.4 FTE, part-time, fixed-term position for a period of 2 years with a possibility of further extension subject to funding.
