Some of what your day to day will include: Lead a team of internal and contract resources to design and deliver Signal Design projects. Coordinate resourcing, and provide technical input to schedules, estimates, technical requirements and queries. Provide engineering expertise for works designed in-house, supporting contract designers and design review of works done by others. Support the Manager Signal Design driving improvements in the team and how we engage with industry. Technical coordination of projects and work packages allocation. What you will bring: High level of skills in: Leadership, coaching, and development of individuals and teams. End to end project leadership. Proven background in delivering signal engineering solutions that provide commercial value. Enthusiasm for problem-solving and proactive and innovative approach to project challenges. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of signalling standards and regulations. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Qualifications: Degree Qualification (Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering). Hold or be eligible for Professional Engineering registration in Queensland preferred. Alternative qualifications backgrounds will be considered for candidates with strong signal design engineering experience and team leadership capability. Location and other information: This is a Brisbane CBD based permanent full-time role. You will be working a standard 76 hour fortnight with the occasional ad hoc requirement for outside standard business hours availability where OT or TOIL benefits will apply, this is to support key projects where you will be able to practically apply your technical knowledge and experience.
