We have an opportunity for an experienced instructional designer to join our newly created L&D team, creating impactful learning solutions that meet the needs of our people. From office-based employees to our frontline teams working out in the community, we need engaging and fit-for-purpose solutions that they can access in a way that suits them. This is a unique opportunity to positively impact our community through effective learning and development initiatives with one of the largest social services providers in SA. What can you expect to be doing? Learning & Development: Develop engaging and effective learning solutions to enhance business capability. Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver tailored training programs. Use instructional design principles and innovative technologies to create impactful learning experiences. Contribute to tailored learning and development plans, including defining objectives and developing content. Develop and implement face-to-face, blended, and eLearning solutions. Analyse and review learning content for continuous improvement. Participate in capability needs analysis and develop integrated solutions. Collect, review, and report on evaluation data for continuous improvement. Learning Management System: Manage the Learning & Development component of the HRIS system. Develop eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline/Rise. Create multimedia content such as graphics, videos, and voice overs. Configure new courses and monitor LMS integrity post HRIS updates. What do you need to bring? Experience in instructional design, specifically with Learning Management Systems. Familiarity with learning management system administration, ideally with ELMO. Demonstrated ability in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning & development programs. Proficiency and proven experience with Articulate Storyline or similar software. Knowledge of adult learning principles and proficiency in using contemporary technology, including AI, to engage various learning styles. Experience collaborating with external stakeholders to develop learning modules/programs for diverse employee groups. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal, negotiation, report writing, and problem-solving abilities. Qualifications in Education, Adult Learning, or Workplace Training & Assessment advantageous. Who is AnglicareSA?
