See yourself in our team: CommBank Smart Health is Australia's first truly end-to-end digital solution for the healthcare industry - providing convenient and secure payment, claiming, and directory capabilities for Australia's healthcare payer schemes, providers and patients. You will join as a senior Strategic Experience Designer with seasoned experience in strategic customer experience, service and user experience design. You will help to inspire your fellow design team members by sharing subject matter knowledge, design skills, and experience to help support the rest of the Commonwealth Bank Smart Health team. The role will support the UX Chapter Design Lead of CBA Health to execute on priorities for the team that involve designing customer experiences for the Commonwealth Bank Smart Health solution. At your core, you're a designer dedicated to tackling complex challenges head-on. Your design skills spans human-centered and strategic design, enabling you to work with the team to navigate diverse service environments and sectors with confidence. You enjoy helping your team to thrive by uncovering insights and new directions. Principal experience should include: Experience in supporting value streams and cross-functional squads to identify opportunities to solve problems, aligned to customer needs and conceptualise solutions to inform the overall strategic roadmap. Ability to facilitate workshops and co-design sessions to help define the problem-space, support cross-functional collaboration, and drive meaningful ideation to solve customer problems. Experience in using storytelling and mapping to communicate design rationale, collaborate with cross-functional teams and define detailed solutions. Experience Working with Researchers and Data Analytics to lead and inform research briefs and methodologies to help gain actionable insights. Ability to help improve service design workflows and inform process of how we work to produce design documentation with measurable outcomes. Extensive experience in UX/UI design including experience creating lo and hi-fidelity wireframes and screens in Figma as well as producing walkthroughs and prototypes. Experience working with design systems to enable other team members to effectively leverage the component libraries and improve workflows for continuous improvement of the product. Your expertise lies in helping to decipher the intricate needs of our customers, crafting nuanced digital, product and service strategies that create meaningful change. Core skills should include: An ability to bring together user research findings and detailed business requirements to help develop strategies and approaches to product and service design that capture opportunities for the organisation. A good understanding of technology platforms and/or specifications to improve a product or service ecosystem. Ability to develop actionable user journeys, roadmaps, or blueprints to support implementation of strategies for clients. Translate strategy into detailed design artefacts through collaboration with product owners, stakeholders, and other design team members. Have deep knowledge and understand of human-centred design and UX research methodologies. Experienced in analysing both qualitative and quantitative research and connecting the dots to drawing out insights between the two. Have deep knowledge of best-design practice, including product design and service design, to inform strategies. Have good knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies and how best to apply these to the design practice and strategic client work. Practice excellent written and verbal communication skills (and can demonstrate this with examples) with attention to detail. Excellent at building strong relationships with stakeholders, presenting work and anticipating customer expectations, challenges, and needs. Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines, with a strong desire to collaborate and contribute to the CBA Smart health design team culture.
