You will contribute to the development of products and designs that support EOS DS's goals. Responsibilities: Design and develop software for new and existing products within specified time frames. Perform software analyses to support product development. Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and system engineers to ensure cohesive design solutions. Implement software engineering practices, including developer testing, code documentation, and code reviews. Conduct test and evaluation activities to verify and sign off on design requirements. Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation. Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of design solutions. Document design, safety requirements, and system specifications for senior review and quality assurance. Support integration activities with customers and partners. Design elements for baselining, modification, and enhancement of engineering solutions. Ensure compliance with company procedures for a safe and secure work environment. Desired Skills and Experience About You: You are a technically proficient software engineer with the ability to work across specialist disciplines and under general direction. Your strong adherence to governance, standards, and ethical practices enables you to achieve business outcomes effectively. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in product development. Proficiency in C/C++ or Java. Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a passion for problem-solving. Experience in applying engineering practices across the entire lifecycle, from concept to delivery. Experience in a multi-disciplinary team environment is desirable. Experience in the defence sector is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline (Postgraduate qualifications are desirable).
