Fast-paced Legal Secretary role available working on interesting State & Govt litigious matters - If you think you have it what it takes read on Our client is a National firm located in Brisbane's bustling CBD. In this exciting new position that will see you working on a wide range of litigious matters, with the main focus on State and Commonwealth Government bodies, you will be providing all facets of polished administrative support. As this is a national team, you will also get exposure and provide support to your interstate colleagues and showcasing your exceptional relationship management and communication skills. Your work will involve responsibilities including: Opening and closing files; Completing client billing and reports; Answering phone calls and assisting with matter inquiries; Scheduling appointments, court events and diary management; Preparation and reconciliation of expenses; Organising events and functions; and Other administrative support required by solicitors Due to the busy and challenging nature of this Public Law legal team, this Legal Secretary role requires you to hold relevant experience working in a busy Litigation environment, within a private practice law firm. It is essential that you hold excellent Microsoft Word skills, fast/accurate typing and experience using document management systems and legal billing packages. Please note this position is suited to career Legal Assistants/PA's.
