At Enerven, we’re focussed on connecting you with tomorrow About the role Enerven’s Transmission Lines Construction team install, maintain and repair transmission towers, lines, underground cables, transformers, switching equipment, reactive power devices, and monitoring and telecommunications equipment. Reporting to the Operations Manager for our Major Projects team, the Manager, Transmission Lines Construction is responsible for the successful delivery of multiple customer projects. You will directly lead a small team of Construction Supervisors, and more broadly a team of approx. 12-15 people along with key subcontractors working across multiple project sites. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining existing customer relationships, as well as actively seek out future work opportunities. Day to day you will: Ensure the daily labour resource allocations are managed in line with project demands Consider labour demands of the pipeline of work Actively seek out opportunities for future work to balance labour supply with demand Contribute to tender and budget planning with construction methods detail and expected productivity Manage & report on the construction of projects Ensure employees and subcontractors are appropriately skilled, trained and licensed to perform their tasks Provide input on constructability in project design and construction methods, with a focus on the allocation of specific resources that produces optimal safety, productivity, and quality results Actively manage direct reports and the broader team, driving a culture which is committed to safety, is efficient and innovative, and is results orientated. About you You are a seasoned Construction/Project Managers, with extensive experience working on a variety of Transmission line construction and maintenance projects.
