The role requires someone who has a minimum of 1-2 years of local experience and preferably comes from a food/FMCG background. Implement and maintain an organized inventory system to track stock levels, expiration dates, and product rotations across warehouse, stores, and Freezer. Manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Dry Good picked and packed daily for stores and when required to assist with chilled product picking. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the warehouse, including machinery, equipment, storage areas, and work processes. You will be required to work in the warehouse, Chiller, Freezer and Office and at times be required to drive to stores, suppliers and or Marrickville Bakehouse. Given the perishable nature of bakery products, a keen attention to detail is essential to maintain quality and prevent wastage.
