Based in Dandenong your new role allows for an entry level Transport Administrator to work with a company offering stability, positive work environment and the opportunity to work with key mentors within the transport industry. Your new role Your new role will see you reporting to the Transport Supervisor, working 8am – 4pm. You will be responsible for providing support to all transport operations. This role allows for the ability to work in a capacity which will allow for upskilling, training and mentoring from industry specialists well engrained in their roles. Your new role will see you; Scheduling sub-contractor and 3rd party vehicles; Administration of subcontractor vehicles; Route optimisation implementation; Sub-contractor compliance administration; Attend to basic customer service duties where necessary; Management of training records; Administering the APR onboard computer system; Processing of contractor run sheets; Customer site reviews; and Associated administrative tasks ie; data entry & reporting. What you need to succeed Proven background within Transport Administration (2-3 years), experience using WasteEdge will be viewed as advantageous; Strong computer literacy experience, MS Office skills, data entry and reporting abilities; and Very organised, attention to detail focused and ability to show assertiveness whilst maintaining good customer relations.
