Job Purpose: To lead the conceptualisation, creation, and development of the sales function, optimising processes, and models to significantly boost the company's revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: Craft and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, aiming for at least a [X%] increase in revenue by the end of the contract term. 2. Refine Sales Processes and Operating Models: Design and implement efficient sales processes and operating models to enhance productivity and effectiveness across the sales team. 3. Build and Manage Sales Team: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team capable of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Maintain a team satisfaction rate of over 90% throughout the contract term. 4. Enhance Sales Performance Metrics: Utilise analytics to monitor, assess, and report on sales performance metrics, ensuring optimal performance and identifying areas for improvement. 5. Client Relationship and Contract Negotiations: Directly manage key client relationships and lead strategic contract negotiations that contribute to long-term business success. Competencies: Strategic Thinking: Ability to create and implement high-level strategies that drive revenue growth. Leadership: Proven experience in leading, motivating, and managing teams to achieve exceptional results. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use data and metrics to make informed decisions and improve sales processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. At least 10 years of progressive sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership role. Demonstrated track record of developing sales strategies and leading teams to exceed revenue targets. Compensation: $150,000 per annum ex superannuation Performance-based bonuses.
