Roster: 8:6 / 7:7 - Port Hedland Residential Fortescue is seeking an Experienced Electrician to join our team at Hedland Operations. This role is a permanent full-time Residential role. You will provide safe, effective and timely electrical maintenance to our fixed plant equipment and ancillaries to optimise plant operational capacity. Key Responsibilities Scoping continuous improvement opportunities Raising notifications and work orders Breakdown and fault finding on Fixed Plant Preventative maintenance on Fixed Plant Modular and shutdown maintenance Statutory testing and inspections Qualifications and Experience Electrical trade qualification and High voltage ticket and experience with HV Switching Current WA 'A' class electrical workers licence Experience as electrical trades person in an iron ore operation or similar continuous operating plant environment Experience in PLC systems and control communication systems Basic instrumentation experience Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems Our Commitment Fortescue is deeply committed to providing a safe culture that builds respect, fosters inclusiveness, and values diversity.
