The Role They are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join their team working in their Sydney office. The role will suit someone who is self-driven, hardworking and has attention to detail. You will have had previous experience as a Sales Engineer or in a relevant Business Development role and be ready to take the next step in your career in the manufacturing industry. The Sales Engineer role is crucial in delivering new outcome and providing the best possible solutions and service level to our customer base. Your key responsibilities would include: Sourcing prospective clients through directories, industry contacts and networks. Preparing and delivering technical sales presentations to potential customers. Providing ongoing sales support to new and existing clients. Liaising with managers to understand customer requirements and optimal sales approach. Ensuring up to date product knowledge and services offered. Meeting with potential and existing customers to identify sales and revenue growth opportunities. Complete reporting, CRM updates and accounts in a timely manner Meeting sales targets in accordance with predetermined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Assessing customer needs and tailoring client focused solutions. Negotiating prices, providing quotes and terms and issuing contracts and order forms. What you will need to succeed: Sales experience in the formwork/scaffolding space preferred or minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction supply related business with an existing clientele in NSW Ability to communicate at all levels with good understanding of commercial building sites The ability to forecast and manage multiple projects at one time Technical knowledge of various formwork systems preferred Results driven with experience in negotiating with customers and a demonstrated ability to achieve a win-win outcome Experience in providing complex solutions to the building industry Working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office and drawing packages Benefits: Generous base ASAP Start Supportive work environment Come join a stable, reputable company with an experienced and stable management team.
