We are currently looking for a Construction Supervisor in our ITS team to take on an exciting opportunity with our team in Victoria. Our team of specialists deliver great outcomes to our clients for critical industrial automation and control technology across all industry sectors. As a Construction Supervisor in our Intelligent Transport Systems team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the works activities performed by SAGE engaged contractors and trades personnel. You will provide direction and control for construction activities on projects under their remit and ensure contractors/Trades achieve project objectives whilst adhering to highest safety standard set by the business and client. Key Responsibilities: Direct and support work crews to carry out works in compliance with project and statutory requirements, adhering to relevant standards and codes. Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities and project schedules to ensure HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) requirements and construction timelines are met. Lead, manage, and coordinate employees and subcontractors working on projects. Organize and supervise the placement of material, plant, and equipment required for site works. Actively promote and support Project Environmental, QA (Quality Assurance), OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety), and Company policies. Report work progress, delays, issues, and incidents. Review and contribute to HSE documentation, QA documentation, and design. Travel to various work fronts when required and directed. Ensure compliance with all Safety Rules and Procedures, participating in any Safety or Training initiatives identified and implemented by the Company and/or the client. Monitor subcontractor resources' skills and performance, providing advice, training, and direction to ensure the team meets necessary performance objectives. Qualifications: Minimum five years' proven experience in electrical engineering, project management, and/or site supervision roles. Exposure to ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), transport, and/or major infrastructure would be an added advantage. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field/trade qualification. An Electrician's license (A Grade) would be an added advantage.
