As a new and innovative NDIS provider operating in SA and VIC, BET is committed to developing and maintaining a culture that promotes choice and control for all our participants. Due to rapid growth, we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Support Workers. The Role This is an expression of Interest. Using a person-centered and active support approach, a Support Worker will work as part of a team to provide support services to people with disabilities. The Support Worker will work with a range of plans for each client, such as an individual support plan, health care plan, medication plan, meal plan, manual handling plan, and will work within the rhythm of service for each house. · Maintain and monitor client support plans · Maintain and monitor client support plans · Ensure a client-focused and person-centered approach is maintained when engaging with a client · Maintain professional and effective interactions with team and stakeholders · Fulfil compliance and training requirements · Must be prepared to work over a 24/7 roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepovers Skills and Essential Requirements · Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or other equivalent qualification · DHS Disability Clearance/NDIS Worker Screening Check · Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 & HLTAID001) · Current Manual Handling Certificate · Driver’s License · Working Rights in Australia Benefits · Supportive, inclusive and team-oriented work environment · Career advancement opportunities in a growing organization · Continuous professional development and training opportunities.
