About the Role Responsible for managing and selling personal group tours and experiences for ticketed exhibitions and tourism products, including booking all associated catering packages. First point of contact for all event enquiries and responsible for administering the venue management system. Provide administrative support to the Tourism project team, and represent the venue hire team in assisting with the development of new tourism products. Provide administrative assistance to the marketing operation of the venues team and responsible for updating the client data base, booking system, marketing collateral, website and marketing reporting admin. Management of internal meeting catering and small-scale internal events. Management of small social events. What technical / soft skills you require · Strong time management and prioritising skills with strong communication skills. · High level of attention to detail · Knowledge of MS Office skills and an understanding of event service technology including event booking systems · Confident & polite telephone and email manner · Basic event / hospitality knowledge Targeted questions Provide an example of where you have implemented a new process or procedure to improve the administrative functions within an organisation.
