St Peter&39;s College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Melbourne&39;s south-east region that has a proud history of fostering the educational and spiritual development of its students. For the commencement of the 2025 school year, we are seeking to appoint a Learning & Teaching Coach – Religious Education, based at our Cranbourne Campus. Leadership Positions at the College have an initial tenure of 3 years and are attached to permanent teaching position. After a successful mid-term review, a further 3 years will be offered. Our ideal candidate: Is able to lead a Religious Education Learning area through a solution focused coaching model. Assists classroom teachers in the development of best teaching practice and with the implementation of programs that improve student performance and learning outcomes. Supports and enacts the Sale Diocese and St Peter’s College reform agenda inclusive of every leader is an Instructional Leader, every teacher is an expert teacher, every student experiences an accelerated rate of progress for every child and young person . Has an understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and different teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills. Competent in digital technologies. The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration. Salary In accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Agreement 2022, from 1 January 2025, the salary range for all teaching staff is $78,801 – $116,894. The POL allowance for the Learning & Teaching Coach – Religious Education is $6,264.
