ABOUT THE ROLE Thiess are seeking an experienced Maintenance Administrator for a permanent employment opportunity working on our Curragh North project in Blackwater. Working on a 7/7 Roster and reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site maintenance administration functions in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. You will be required to assist maintenance personnel with the provision of accurate and timely information regarding maintenance activities, enabling improved performance by the maintenance group. ABOUT YOU This position is ideally suited to someone who has worked in the mining or an allied industry and has the following skills: Administration experience with exposure to a maintenance, mining or heavy industry environment being highly regarded Proficiency in JDE or equivalent business procurement system – advantageous Experience using Microsoft Office packages Time management and the ability to prioritising tasks and meet deadlines The ability to work harmoniously with other people of various backgrounds Excellent Communication skills – both written and verbal WHAT THIESS CAN DO FOR YOU 7/7 Roster – Day Shift Only Full camp facilities provided – or living out of camp allowance, if applicable Thiess’ commitment to ongoing training & development Health & wellbeing rewards program through AIA Vitality Salary continuance insurance Salary sacrifices options – Novated leasing and flights Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.
