Full-time 3 year Civil Construction Traineeship specialised in Bridge Construction and Maintenance Work for a Government Organisation that specialises in delivering transport infrastructure solutions throughout Queensland COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS is looking for dedicated candidates to join our Skilled Civil Construction Traineeship (Certificate III in Civil Construction), specializing in Bridge Construction and Maintenance. This role involves both day and night shifts, occasionally requiring travel out of town. Ideal candidates will possess a deep industry knowledge and passion, prior labour experience, and the flexibility to work within a rotating shift roster in a large, safety-focused organization. The Bridge CM Traineeship will involve but not limited to: Concrete bridge construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance Concrete culvert construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance Steel bridge rehabilitation and maintenance Timber bridge rehabilitation and maintenance General servicing of structures and surrounds Bridge Inspections Essential Qualifications: Construction White Card Manual driver’s license (or must be committed to obtain with 6 months) CPR desirable Ability to provide two work or school related references Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol testing. Can commit to working both Day and Night shifts Must be able to commit to working on remote projects at times Strong commitment to complete Traineeship Must be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative Who We Are?
