Position Overview: The company are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FPGA Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in signal processing and RF design, coupled with substantial experience in FPGA development. A solid understanding of embedded software, particularly embedded Linux, is also highly desirable. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a collaborative and stimulating environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement FPGA-based solutions for signal processing and RF applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture. Develop and integrate embedded software, including drivers and application code, on FPGA platforms. Work with embedded Linux, including kernel module development and system integration. Perform system-level debugging and verification of FPGA designs. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support. Qualifications: Extensive experience in FPGA design and development, with experience on signal processing and RF design. Proficient in HDL languages such as VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog. Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Vitis or Intel Quartus. Knowledge of embedded software development, including C/C++ and embedded Linux. Some understanding of Python also desirable Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with high-speed digital design and interface protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet). Knowledge of DSP algorithms and their implementation on FPGA. Familiarity with RF transceiver design and implementation. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
