Civil Contractor - Landfill | Earthworks | TSF Competitive hourly salary Bendigo, Victoria The Company A specialist Civil Contractor delivering major landfill & water infrastructure sites in the Northern Regional areas of Victoria. This SME is in the process of delivering a multi-million dollar Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) in Victoria's region of Bendigo and seeking a driven Engineer to aid the construction of this large-scale project on a contract basis circa 3 months. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will manage the following duties: Requirements: Working within the project team reporting to the Senior PM to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget Ensure high-quality of work is delivered to spec (Earthworks, compacting, grading, drainage infrastructure, material lining etc.) Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and quality control. Cost analysis, reporting and forecasting (highly valued) Communicating with clients, consultants and authorities Manage the subcontractors Planning and project programming As the ideal applicant, you will have: Minimum 4 years experience of working on civil construction projects in Australia in a similar role. Must have proven experience delivering large Dams or Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) projects A strong understanding of bulk earthworks, drainage, and road construction would be advantageous. A degree in Construction / Engineering An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent time management Ability to conduct LAFH arrangements or travel to Bendigo daily Appropriate IT skills Project Engineers to Senior Project Engineer level candidates will be considered for this position, please read the requirements of this job thoroughly before submitting your application.
