The Gig With a strong pipeline of infrastructure projects on deck, a newly created role is available for a highly motivated, focused, and organised Senior Project Engineer to join the business. Your primary goal is simple - You will be accountable for providing engineering expertise to develop project construction methodologies; plan and price scopes of work, along with technical content and programs for a new project in Western Sydney. Reporting to the Project Manager and based onsite, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, organising, and procuring resources for a large project in Sydney. You will ensure construction scopes are delivered within budget and to agreed specifications You will be trusted with: Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion Overseeing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications Providing engineering expertise and technical support throughout the project lifecycle Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to ensure project standards are met Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to maintain effective communication and project progress Managing and allocating resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, efficiently Identifying and resolving technical and operational issues that arise during project execution Ensuring all project activities comply with legal, environmental, and safety regulations Maintaining accurate project documentation and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management and engineering What’s In Your Toolbox? You are an exceptional communicator, collaborative and are a natural problem solver. Your ability to translate technical complexities, your analytical approach, and toolbox of methodologies will be key assets as you work towards successful solution outcomes. You will have at least 7 years post graduate experience as a Civil Engineer ideally within civil construction projects in Australia.
