Join Us and Make an Impact. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Process Control Systems to join our HPS team in our Brisbane, QLD office. Reporting to the Senior Engineer Program Supervisor, your focus will be execution of fixed scopes of work on projects and development of further engineering skills. This will involve implementing defined parts of standard engineering solutions under the close supervision of other Lead Project Engineers and assisting in the development of new or non-standard solutions. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the required pre-requisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work. Implementation of control and safety system projects, typically using Honeywell Experion DCS's/RTUs/PLCs and supervisory systems, and/or third-party PLC controllers/PLCs Hardware and software Engineering for the Control and safety systems Implement projects using Honeywell Tools and processes, provide input for constant improvement of tools and processes. Comply with Honeywell engineering processes tools and methodologies. Actively participate in HSE processes, meet HSE metrics and follow all HSE procedures. Provide sales assistance for estimation, proposal preparation, demonstration of capability. Key Experience & Capabilities: Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline (e.g.: Instrument & Control, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering). 3-8 years' experience in implementing Control and safety solutions in one or more of the following verticals: Refinery, Oil & Gas, Mining, Power Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, Electrical Drawings) Experience with Honeywell DCS (Honeywell) and Safety Systems is advantageous. Strong oral and written communication abilities. Able to multitask and manage priorities. Key Challenges: Travel requirement up to 25% (nationally and/or internationally) Ability to meet deadlines whilst managing multiple tasks. About Us The world is changing.
