Network Security Engineer You'd be working with one of Australia's most sought after & high-performing fintech companies supporting end-to-end infrastructure deployments in data centers across network and security platforms. If you have worked at an expert level with firewall technologies like Checkpoint or Palo Alto and have some scripting experience (python/bash/PowerShell) in Unix environments, this is going to be the perfect role for you. Ideally you will be CCIE certitifed. Your daily activities will include: Support end-to-end infrastructure deployments Build, manage and support our complex LAN/WAN & security environments Drive research, innovation, and implementation of infrastructure capacity and reliability optimizations Collaborate with developers, researchers and our hardware engineers on projects that require a stable and scalable platform to operate on Automate, monitor, and benchmark networks & systems Your Skills: Network security & troubleshooting complex network and security issues Designing, implementing and supporting zone based firewalls and associated firewall technology with Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls Multi zone, multi tier firewall architecture across APAC Unix systems LAN/ WAN's and Firewall infrastructure Because of the nature in which they operate, they need someone in their Sydney CBD office 5 days per week but that comes with many benefits such as catered meals, free gym memberships etc. The is a 12-month Fixed term contract which is very likely to be extended or converted to perm. The salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience but looking at a guide range of $180-220k package for the right candidates.
