Job Purpose: BTIG is seeking a junior / mid-level sales trader to support the senior sales trading team. This individual must be able to work in a high-pressure environment, multi-task, exercise sound decision making skills, and have a positive, 'can do' attitude. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide support to our team of sales traders assisting with client coverage duties. Reading research and assisting in the analysis of trade ideas. Assist in the compilation of the morning news and trade ideas, highlight key announcements and developments that will impact Asian trading day. Support sales traders in client coverage and begin to develop direct relationships with clients. Liaise with Back Office/Settlements regarding settlement issues. Requirements & Qualifications: 2-3 years experience in finance, banking, financial markets. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Keen interest in financial markets. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take initiative.
