The Client Our client is an established, distributor and supplier of high end commercial and residential interior products. They are regarded as an Australian market leader, and are highly respected with products being utilised across Hospitality, Health, Education and Workplace sectors and in numerous commercial projects across WA & Australia. The Role Your new role will be working in their commercial sales team in Perth CBD. You will be showroom based but also out face to face building relationships with a mixture of clients . The role will be varied, fast paced and will see you working closely with key decision makers within the interior design and construction community of WA. Backed by an experienced sales support and estimating team you will be measured against achievable sales targets and budgets, spending the majority of your week in front of clients, solution selling during project meetings, promoting a wide range of interior finishes and becoming an integral partner to their business. The role comes with a guaranteed commission retainer for the first 6 months and an excellent base salary. The OTE after year 1 is in excess of $200K. Skills Required We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the following skills; Previous experience in a commercial architectural sales role within the fit out industry in WA. Ideally experience selling / specifying high end interior finishes into commercial projects in Perth. Established contacts and relationships with Perth’s specifiers and builders. Superb communication, energy, drive, presentation skills and passion for being client facing, closing deals and building relationships. Strong team player who is able to work autonomously and who is proactive in their sales approach. The Package The starting base salary is circa $100k Super Commission. The package will also include all travel expenses and a guaranteed commission retainer for the first period, whilst you get up and running.
