Sales & Business Development Officer — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

This is a newly created role which provides the opportunity to really make it your own. This role will see you undertake the following key tasks: Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities. Source new products and suppliers to enhance our product range, focusing on reinforcing mesh, taps, bathroom sinks, drains, and construction accessories. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. Implement and monitor McNab’s Quality Management System and Quality Management Plan throughout projects. Develop and maintain a product website and product catalogue. Utilise digital marketing strategies to promote products and increase website traffic. Collaborate with Procurement to manage inventory levels and ensure availability of key items. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets. In addition to this, we are seeking the following: Proven experience in sales management, preferably in construction or related industries. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers. Knowledge of construction accessories, particularly reinforcing mesh, taps, bathroom sinks, drains, etc. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate. Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and website management. Analytical skills to conduct market research and identify opportunities. Understanding of Quality Management Systems and their application in product development and delivery. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
