About the role: The primary objective of the Sales Pipeline Development Coordinator is to develop and manage a comprehensive database for identified customers, serving as the foundation for a customer pursuit program. This role is crucial in driving the company's customer acquisition strategy and ensuring systematic follow-through on potential sales opportunities. Security Services Information Management • Document current security services and providers, including contractual details, expiry dates, points of contact, and contract value. • Input this information into Salesforce to create a Victorian sales pipeline. 2. Business Development Planning • Develop a business plan for each customer. • Assign plans to accountable individuals (State GM or State Manager) for follow-up. 3. General Duties • Adhere to and role model company values and policies. • Ensure health and safety compliance, reporting hazards and incidents. • Participate in annual performance review (PDR) processes and achieve set objectives. • Follow company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. • Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager. 4. People Management Duties • Set team objectives aligned with the PDR process. • Support and develop team members through effective communication and meaningful work. • Identify and support training opportunities. • Maintain compliance with policies and legislative requirements.Foster a culture of compliance and escalate risks as necessary. Skills and requirements: 1. Communication Skills • Effective verbal communication and tenacity for establishing and navigating initial contacts within organizations. • Strong written communication for essential follow-up after initial contact. 2. Database Management • Proficiency in managing databases; experience with Salesforce is beneficial but not essential. 3. Research and Analysis • Ability to perform desktop analysis of publicly available information to support direct communication efforts.
