HR Administrator - 12 month contract — Macquarie Park, Ryde Area

Description As a HR Administrator, you will manage the HR database, support recruitment, administer induction and training programs, update policies and procedures, conduct performance reviews, and ensure WHS compliance. You will work closely to support the HR Manager and be a vital player in the team. This role requires a proactive, detail orientated individual with excellent organisation and communication skills. Your main responsibilities will include: HR Database management: Maintain the Employment database, set up new hires, manage onboarding, update the dashboards, recruitment information, company values, and organisational chat. Manage the asset register and generate reports. Recruitment: Draft and post job advertisements, assist in screening resumes, conduct interviews, reference checks, and prepare employment contracts. Induction / Training: Deliver HR induction training, support the Trainer/Coach, manage training platforms, research and recommend courses, and update training register. Policies and procedures: review and update policies, upload them to the e-portal for employee access. Performance reviews: implement probationary reviews, send confirmation letters, and manage annual performance reviews. WHS Compliance: Develop and maintain a WHS model, coordinate the WHS committee, organise training, conduct safety audits, consult on WH&S compliance, prepare WH&S proposals and administer workers compensation. Profile The Ideal HR Administrator candidate combines integrity and confidentiality with strong information interpretation and attention to detail. They excel in working independently, taking initiative, and managing multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in navigating HR databases and knowledgeable about legal requirements, they possess excellent consulting and facilitation skills. With a proactive and flexible approach, they are committed to achieving organisational success. Essential: 1-2 years experience in a similar Human Resources Position. Strong computer skills - capable of navigating HR databases. Knowledge of legal requirement of HR function. A strong work ethic with a proactive and flexible approach.
