Description Responsible for overseeing accounting tasks within the special services team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards. This is a 12-month maternity leave coverage position. Provide guidance and support to team members in completing less complex accounting tasks. Handle escalated or more complex accounting issues that arise within the special services department. Coordinate team activities, including those involving agency contract staff, to ensure efficient operations. Assist supervisors or managers in their day-to-day accounting activities within the special services department. Support the design, review, and implementation of accounting processes and procedures. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and enhance efficiency. Minimum Education Diploma's degree or equivalent.
