Sports Sales Manager - Brisbane — Taringa, Brisbane

Working with the Director of Sport Sales & Sport Leadership team to establish and implement the strategic sport commercial approach and activate within the Brisbane market and other markets as required. Operate concurrently within the Brisbane Sales leadership team, under the leadership of the Brisbane Sales Director and delivering against the local sport targets and market objectives while operating within the national commercial sport guidelines and process. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and sell in a customised premium proposition to achieve targets and maximise return for Nine Represent the NEC brand within the market, having a strong and reputable market presence, and service client partnerships in line with Nines premium sport offering Manage and oversee the sport pipeline within the Brisbane market, and provide reports and forecasts Work cohesively and transparently with the broader Nine Sport and commercial team, understanding the importance of the connection of the Nine matrix structure to deliver the Sport Commercial business objectives Lead & manage strategic and detailed conversations with advertisers and agencies relating to and connecting all of Nine's assets as part of the commercial strategy Lead the negotiations of premium sponsor arrangements in in the Brisbane market and for designated national clients, end to end Provide industry leading sport sales solutions in the Brisbane market and/or allocated national accounts Qualifications 5 years experience working within Media, Agency or Sport related industries Self motivated and driven to work within a multi stakeholder matrix environment High level of skill and experience in data analysis and comprehension of information, with a strong capabiity to idenify insights and develop a strategy Positive, constructive and proactive approach to find the best solutions to deliver client needs while maximising the revenue opportunities across the business A strategic mindset and ability to think commercially across multiples sales platforms Ability to influence both internally and externally to drive revenue outcomes Developed skills in forecasting, revenue planning (channel, category) pipeline and forecast and budget management Maintain key relationships that provide further growth opportunities through information, revenue potential, industry leads and partnerships Ability to collaborate internally with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities for the ultimate benefit of the business Additional Information Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: At Nine, we are committed to fostering a workforce that embraces all aspects of diversity and inclusion and where practices are equitable to ensure our people experience a sense of belonging.
