In this dynamic role, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Compliance Administration Team and School Crossing operations. You'll lead a dedicated team responsible for managing a number of diverse tasks and providing business support to numerous enforcement teams within the Compliance & Parking Services branch. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference by streamlining processes, system functions, enhancing customer experience, and fostering a positive and productive team environment. The successful candidate will have: Ability and experience to lead and manage a team with a high workload, with a focus on continuous improvement and a continual pursuit of excellent customer experience. Ability and experience to analyse and improve the efficiency and effectiveness in current processes and procedures. Excellent computer literacy and verbal/written communication skills. Initiative to use problem solving approaches to achieve positive outcomes while managing a high and demanding workload. Ability to develop and improve staff’s knowledge, decision making and accountability through leading by example, coaching and mentoring. This role will lead the: Compliance Administration Team. School Crossing Supervisors. The Key responsibilities: Provide leadership, direction to the Compliance Administration Team and develop tools to enhance the customer experience across the Compliance & Parking services branch. Assisting in identifying and implementing business and process improvement opportunities across all applications, systems, and non-systems-based processes. Support a positive, engaged, and productive culture throughout the Compliance Administration Team, School Crossing Supervisors and Compliance & Parking Branch. Maintain systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of Council’s data base regarding customer request management, permits, licences, registrations, infringements, and reports and that they are issued within agreed timeframes. Provide systems and business support for Local Laws, Animal Management, Construction Enforcement, Planning Enforcement, Environmental Health, Prosecution, Special Project teams. Provide accurate and timely information to Management and Leadership within the Compliance & Parking services branch.
