Position Information Macquarie Fields High School is situated on Dharawal land and is a large inclusive secondary school with 1135 students in comprehensive, selective stream and Special Education classes. The school is culturally and linguistically diverse with 88% of students having language backgrounds other than English and 13 students of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background. Selection Criteria 1. Approval to teach Industrial Technology - Timber, Design and Technology and Technology Mandatory. 2. Demonstrated commitment to excellence and maintaining high expectations within the classroom, delivering challenging and engaging lessons and using effective assessment practices to promote student achievement. 3. Demonstrated commitment to integrating technology in effective classroom practice. 4. Capacity to collaborate and work as a dynamic member in a faculty team and to effectively contribute to whole school initiatives. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
